Blowfish, the landspeed record setting 1969 Barracuda designed and built by Rad Rods by Troy

The Blowfish was brought to SEMA by
who  in the past couple of years brought the cars on the banner under their name,

I've posted the Henry J  http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/11/1951-henry-j-of-chuck-beanes-at-sema.html

and the Comet gasser http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2010/12/rosedale-rocket-from-snokes-metal-shed.html

Road Rattler made by Spitzer and debuted at SEMA

Jim and Scott Mitchell had the Spitzer people who are more commonly drag race car builders make this sleek, over the top, and highly customized Road Runner a crowd magnet. I couldn't get a full side view photo because there were too many people, so the last photo in this gallery if from the Spitzer webpage

It's incredibly rare to see Lenco shifters in a car, it's not common to see them in dragsters, but they sure look great!

the roof is from an Impala, I think I heard, for the lower profile, flatter curves, and big back window. No rain gutters either

a '59 Jag that he paid 900 for, but wants to make 200 mph with. He ran it at Maxton, and got 195, but will try again

 9.89 at 137 mph in the quarter-mile,
At the '11 ECTA meet at Maxton, Kris ran 195 mph naturally aspirated, and 195 in AA/Fuel Super Street, he ended up winning HOT ROD jackets for earning the highest speeds in both the Real Street and Super Street classes, something that had never been done before.

Hal Wing had a wrecked '07 G55 Benz, but wanted to get a classic made by Troy Trepanier, so Rad Rides by Troy took the powertrain and some of the interior and made this 54 Buick extraordinary

the stereo (etc etc) are from the Benz

Only Troy Trepanier has won the Ridler Award and built a Bonnevile record holder http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2011/11/blowfish-landspeed-record-setting-1969.html
