 Somewhere these mototcycles must be the stars of someones collection... but i bet at least one of the bikes Von Dutch restored is not recognized by whoever owns it now.

The motorcycle that helped make Arthur Fonzarelli an icon of cool was up for auction. (didn't sell)

The 1949 Triumph Trophy TR5 was featured on the beloved sitcom “Happy Days.” Even without the Fonz connection, the bike would have a famous pedigree since it was owned by stuntman, racer and Triumph dealer Bud Ekins — a guy even cooler than Fonzie himself. He’s best known for dyeing his hair blonde and performing the stunts that studios wouldn’t allow his friend Steve McQueen to do, including the fence jump at the end of The Great Escape and some of the driving in Bullit

When Happy Days needed an authentic bike for Fonzie, Ekins obliged by removing the bike’s front fender, spray-painting the gas tank silver and replacing the handlebars.

Henry Winkler, who played the Fonz, couldn’t ride a motorcycle. Winkler told Emmy TV Legends that he rammed the bike into a sound truck the first time he tried to ride it. From that day on, the crew pulled him and the motorcycle on a board.

The bike is in need of a lot of repairs. The speedometer is broken, it's rusted and hasn’t run since the 1970s, according to the New York Times. Despite the bike’s condition, it was expected to fetch between $60,000 and $80,000.

The eclectic Lee Roy Hartung Collection of automobiles, motorcycles and memorabilia was gathered over the past 50 years by the Chicago collector.

Mr. Hartung dealt in scrap metal, sold used cars and maintained a hauling business that aided his hobby. After a garage fire destroyed an antique bicycle collection, Mr. Hartung in 1972 built a 10,000-square-foot barn on his four-acre property and spent the next several decades stuffing it with treasures

Mr. Hartung operated the space as a museum by appointment only. In it, he stored about 80 cars, 40 motorcycles, 100 bicycles and thousands of pieces of automobilia. He had what experts called one of the most complete collections of license plates in the United States

A 1912 Harley-Davidson Single-Cylinder Belt Drive, believed to be among the best 1912 examples in the world, brought $115,000.
original bicycles were highlighted by a like-new 1934 Iver Johnson, an Elgin Bluebird and a Schwinn Aerocycle, which individually sold for $5,175 each.

An R model '65 Shelby Gt 350 Mustang has been bouncing from auction to auction and has had bids from 1 million, down to $475,000 and isn't selling. The owner must have wasted a lot of money on auction house fees, and isn't through bleeding money in hopes of selling at a profit. Car #530.... one of only 35 produced (1 of 25 still remaining) was shipped to Lima Peru on 7/29/66 and raced extensively on the South American circuit. It was the South American Champion in it's class and the Peruvian National Champion in the late 60's.

Raced by purchaser Bratzo Vicich, the car was the South American Class Champion during the late 1960s as well as the Peruvian National Champion as late as 1973. A second South American owned the car and ran it actively until 1980. Returning to the United States in 1984 in the care of George Stauffer, the car has had numerous American owners since and was campaigned with the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association with whom it has a permanent medallion as well as other well-known sanctioning bodies. Restored not long ago by Kurt Vogt of Cobra Automotive and in a museum for a number of years

The 1963 Pontiac ambulance that transported JFK's body after the assasination

This 1963 Pontiac ambulance was used to transport President John F. Kennedy's body from Air Force One following his assassination in Dallas on November 22, 1963.

Details: This 1963 Pontiac Ambulance was made in June 1963 and is one of 15 delivered to various service branches. It's U.S. Navy data plate shows it was assigned to Bethesda Naval Hospital. Following President John F. Kennedy's assassination on November 22, 1963 it met Air Force One at Andrews Air Force Base.

94-49196 was used to transport President Kennedy's flag draped casket as well as members of the Kennedy family from Andrews to Bethesda and later to the U.S. Capitol. Following naval service, the ambulance was moth-balled and eventually sold as surplus. It is PHS documented. It was shown at the 2010 Military Vehicle Preservation Association National Convention where it won the Gold Award
